We moved to the Bella Coola Valley in 2001 where we found a little piece of heaven and we want to share it with the world. We are avid nature lovers and are constantly excited about the natural activities that surround us. We watch mountain goats, grizzly and black bears, wolves, deer, otters, seals and especially eagles, right from the living room window.
We Have The Power
One unique thing about Suntree Guest Cottages is that we can generate our own hydro-electricity. Suntree has a Pelton wheel turbine capable of producing as much as 18 Kilowatts of electricity during normal operating periods using the natural resource of a mountain stream. Learning to manage electricity has helped make living here a rewarding experience. And yes, informational tours of the facility are offered at no charge.

Nice Place!
Lupa is our German Shepherd Dog that also calls Suntree home. She enthusiastically greets guests and is available for walks and companionship. Lupa is well socialized and welcomes other canine guests. Pets are very welcome here, provided a few common-sense rules are observed. Please ask for details.
